Hello gorgeous! My name is Mary Zingarelli and I’d like to welcome you to My House of Zing. Since I was a kid, people have called me Zing, Zinger, Zingazelli or some other derivative of my last name so it felt only right to pen my blog under something similar. If you love finding new recipes, picking up some fashion tips or learning new tricks then you’ve come to the right house… I mean blog.
My House of Zing was born when I launched the Instagram account in October 2017. The intent was to have some fun with social and make some new friends online. After working for over 10 years in Communications – primarily focusing on Social and Digital – I wanted to do something that was just for me, not a brand.
What started out “just for fun” has turned into a passion and I love writing for the blog. Topics focus mainly on lifestyle, which basically means anything I find interesting and want to share. Don’t be shy about giving me feedback or requesting a topic… I love to collaborate!
Over the last few years, there have been a lot of changes in my life. Looking back, I can say it has been both a transformation and a transition. I’ve moved away from corporate life and am now focused on teaching (which I love beyond words) what I’ve learned in-real-life (which sometimes ‘aint pretty) and starting to try out new things I didn’t have time for before. I’m spending much more time with my wonderful family, reconnecting with friends old and new, and enjoying life as a new dog mom.
Over the next year, I’m hoping to launch some new features, branch out on topics that are interesting to my readers, and definitely continue to provide reviews of products I adore… I promise that if I don’t love it, I won’t share it.
