Instant Pot Roundup: Immunity Boosting Recipes

Immunity Boosters

Welcome to another addition of the Instant Pot Roundup featuring recipes to boost your immunity! As we move into colder months and continue to combat a global pandemic, it’s important to pay attention to what we’re eating and chose foods that can help our bodies be strong and healthy.

This doesn’t just mean soups! In fact, I’ve tried to bring together recipes that would appeal to everyone and have a lot of flexibility in terms of storage and convenience. Of course, there are a couple of soup and soup-based dishes because hey, it’s cold out there 😉

Here are my top picks….

Instant Pot Carrot Ginger Soup

In my opinion, you can’t get a better taste explosion than putting carrot and ginger together. Not only do they taste great, but they’re a powerful immunity boosting couple. Carrots are very nutritious and have a ton of benefits but from an immunity perspective, they contain vitamins A, B and B6, which are known to protect immune cells and provide optimal immune response. Ginger also packs a punch and can help fight infection.

Miso has long been known as an ingredient that adds immense flavour to a dish. But did you know it’s also really, really, good for you? This fermented soy bean contains good stuff like vitamins B, E, K and folic acid that provide excellent gut health and promotes overall mental and physical wellness.

Instant Pot Beets Salad

I can’t get enough of beets. There are so many ways to prepare them either as a side dish, main or even in a shake. They look pretty and have amazing colour, but they’re also nutrient-packed and have impressive health benefits. Fiber, folate and vitamin C work together to help boost health and are an easy vegetable to work into your diet.

I always felt that cauliflower was broccoli’s forgotten cousin so I was really happy when it started to gain popularity again. The list of goes on and on, which makes this hearty vegetable a good choice to boost your overall body health.

Instant Pot Chana Masala
